Alan Worsley

Alan Worsley has been sourcing and supplying premium equipment to broadcast industry for over 25 years.  His experience stems from his creditable broadcast employ repertoire, ranging from Avid, Spescom, AV Specialist, Panasonic and currently the Visual Impact Group.  Through Alan’s leadership as Senior Product Manager at Panasonic, Alan had successfully negotiated the shift from S-VHS, launch of DVCPRO and latest Varicam products through industry transitional periods.

 As a broadcast sales specialist his wealth of expertise attributes to many meritious client and supplier relationships.  Superior client delivery and service are central to Alan and his team of equipment proficient broadcast technicians.

Mirela Oswald

Originally from Croatia, Mirela joined Visual Impact South Africa in August 2008. Her previous experience in the broadcast industry includes 5 years at Globecast as Operations Manager, and 4 years at Mindset as On Air Producer. Mirela has studied Fundamentals of Project Management at Wits University, and is currently studying for her BA in Communications at Unisa. As admin manager her responsibilities include ordering stock from all our suppliers, liaising with shipping companies, costing, stock control, invoicing, in fact anything you can think of in broadcast equipment sourcing, importing, stock, and broadcast sales . Mirela is the hub of the broadcast team in Johannesburg.

Mariette Botes

Our new Johannesburg Broadcast Sales Representative, Mariette has a Diploma in Film and Television Production Techniques from City Varsity, CapeTown, and is a past graduate of the Visual Impact Boot Camp. Her responsibilities include the sales of all our broadcast equipment, with emphasis on products such as Canon, Go-Pro, Zacuto, and all the other accessories that complete the camera kit. Mariette also specifically looks after the Visual Impact education and training institutions in the Johannesburg region.

Frans Setshedile

Frans is our latest addition to the Johannesburg broadcast sales team. He is a confidant young man, fluent in Ndebele, Sotho, Zulu and English. As sales admin assistant his responsibilities include sales of braodcast consumables, as well as stock and sales administration, ordering from local suppliers, stock transfers, and general support to the sales team.

Juanne Whyte

Visual Impact’s demanding film and broadcast industry is well supported by our Cape Town broadcast sales manager, Juanne Whyte. Juanne is Visual Impact’s Cape Town point of call for all expert broadcast sale needs. He had joined Visual impact as a freelance lighting technician and through his dynamic and professional demeanor had quickly progressed throughout the company’s divisions. He has an accumulated wealth of knowledge and expertise that helps him best serve the diverse clientele of the broadcast and film industry. 

Juanne and his lively sales team work together to successfully service any and all film and broadcast industry needs.

Ashleigh Martyn

Ashleigh Martyn has been working for Visual Impact since 2008 after she graduated from UCT in both BA Film & Media and Bcom Marketing Management. She started off in VI Marketing and Advertising, and is now based in the Visual Impact Sales. Her notable vibrant personality and passion for client service delivery has nurtured many successful broadcast industry relationships.

Ashleigh concentrates on Apple sales, storage solutions, and broadcast sales.  Together Ashleigh and Juanne make a dynamic sales force in the broadcast equipment industry.

Andiswa Siwela

Andiswa Siwela has been a part of the Visual Impact team for over four years and has worked in almost every department within the company. Her positive and ready smile is most enjoyed our broadcast and film industry clients. She is currently the senior sales administrator at Visual Impact Sales and heads up all broadcast consumable sales needs.
