The 'J3 Viewing Bay' trolley

With the release of the J-range of machines from SONY and in particular the J-3, valuable desk space everywhere has been set free.
It has even allowed us at Visual Impact to provide Digibeta play back from a viewing trolley which hasn’t used a combination of RSJ’s and tractor wheels.
The The Visual Impact Viewing trolley also known as ‘Steve’s dalek’ comprises of four units, the SONY J-3, VHS, 14” professional monitor and a set of headphones.
The trolley, 3 of which are currently in use at MTV Europe, are pre-wire so VHS Bitc’s copies can be made, no dangling cables and a single mains plug powers all the units, the trolley can also be wheeled from desk to desk as simply as it could be left in a dedicated area.
